Tip: Bulldogs win @ 1.49
The Dogs are clinging to finals hopes and they need to win this one. No Toby Greene, and a few fresh injuries to key players for GWS mean Bulldogs at home should hold an edge here.
Crows vs Hawks
Tip: Crows win @ 1.44
Hawthorn have shown heart, but the Crows at Adelaide Oval are a different beast. With their eyes still on a late finals push, expect Adelaide to continue their domination at home and take another top 8 scalp.
Demons vs Eagles
Tip: Melbourne win @ 1.08
This one’s lopsided on paper and it’ll play out that way. The Eagles can’t hang with the Dees’ midfield, and unless Max Gawn forgets how to ruck, this will be over early. Although, Demons have been pretty poor this year, so an upset isn't the most surprising thing in the world, albeit, unlikely.
Suns vs Tigers
Tip: Suns win @ 1.04
The Suns are a different beast at home, and under Damien Hardwick they’ve found both structure and spark. The Tigers are showing some fight, but they’re still a few gears below. Expect Gold Coast to control the game off the back of midfield leaders Anderson and Rowell.
Swans vs Bombers
Tip: Swans win @ 1.05
Sydney will be keen to rebound after last week's derby loss, and they get the perfect chance here. The Bombers are limping to the finish line, and with stars like Gulden and Heeney likely to have space to roam, the Swans should handle business at the SCG without fuss.
Magpies vs Lions
Tip: Pies win @ 1.62
A genuine blockbuster. Brisbane will be desperate to respond after a flat patch, and Collingwood haven’t been convincing lately either. But at the MCG, and with finals intensity ramping up, the edge leans to the Magpies - just. It’s a coin flip, but Collingwood is the safer pick.
Saints vs Kangaroos
Tip: Saints win @ 1.27
The Saints are full of belief after Wanganeen-Milera’s stunning final minute moments last week, while the Kangaroos look battered and ready for the off-season. St Kilda should take care of business here - but at these odds, there's not much value in backing them outright.
Cats vs Power
Tip: Geelong win @ 1.05
Port are running on fumes, and GMHBA Stadium isn’t the place to regain confidence. The Cats will be too clean, too settled, and too well-drilled. This should be a professional performance from Geelong.
Dockers vs Blues
Tip: Dockers win @ 1.14
Fremantle are flying, and the Blues are firmly in reverse. With confidence, cohesion and coaching momentum on their side, the Dockers should roll past a struggling Carlton outfit. Longmuir rises while the pressure on Michael Voss keeps mounting.
